Ngorongoro Crater

: The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, created when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed around two to three million years ago. It's now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wildlife and Landscape: The crater floor is a haven for wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and endangered black rhinos, making it one of the few places in Tanzania where you can see all members of the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). It also has large populations of hippos and flamingos. The varied terrain inside the crater, from forests to grasslands and lakes, makes it an ideal location for a rich diversity of wildlife.
